Default Great day at the drag strip with 09 XF SC

I took my 100% stock 2009 XF Supercharged to the drag strip this morning with great results. Temperature was 48 with a strong tail wind. Went much faster than expected. Any one else race their XF?

60' 2.070
1/4. 13.20
MPH 108.3

Yeah, I race my XFR at Bandimere, here in Colorado. My best time so far is 12.4, but I hope to better that thus season. IIRC, BigCat has had his XFR in the 11s.

That's a fantastic time. I thought it would be higher than that.

What settings did you choose on your best runs? (I imagine Dynamic + Sport mode?)

The best combination was track mode and trac dsc with automatic shifting.

Great time for a stock 4.2! and your combo of modes is spot on to use for the strip. I prefer Trac DSC and S mode myself. DSC OFF and Manual shift will just set the rear tires up in smoke. I have only been to the drag strip 2 times with my XFR but I been there racing since I was a kid. I don't want to beat up my XFR there, that is what the Supras I have are for.

Again, congrats on a great time.

Just got back from New England Dragway 53 cloudy rained all night lots of water. Ran my best time ever

RT .842
60' 2.203
1/4. 13.076
MPH 110.51

RT .185
60' 2.376
1/4. 13.268
MPH 111.10

Ran 8 runs will post slips in a few..
Was one of only 20-30 or so cars. Very wet today on the staging lanes pooling water everywhere.

Best run ET was Dynamic / Sport Auto shift
Fastest MPH was Dynamic mode Drive

Huge shout out to BigCat09 ...
The e-brake trick is the goodies...
