Default Hardwire v1 or escort?

I just purchased a 2010 XFR on 1/11/14, upgrading from a e90 m3. And so far i love the car. Have a few plans, already purchased the mina exhaust and going to get pulley & a tune.

I have a Valentine1 i had hardwired in my m3 and want to hardwire it in the xfr, has anyone done this? Havent had time to explore much so not sure where i would put the concealed display and what cable I would hardwire it to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Can't speak to the V1 but I had a Passport 9500ix hard wired in my XFR. Let me know if you want to see some pics. I did not want to cut into the dash on this car so I came up with a decent mounting solution.

I paid $50 cash to a Jag tech at the dealership to hard wire my V1 in my 2011 XFR. Salesman arranged it.

yeah pics would be great, cause they basically are the same thing. I searched and found some XJR and XKR hardwiring but no XFR and I don't want to splice the wrong wire if there is any difference in the wiring of the models.

I'll call up my dealership and ask, that'd be a lot easier.
