Default Headers or manifold

What do our Xfs have installed from factory? Would they be classified as headers or manifolds?

More like manifolds than headers, but not as "log like" as some.
Here's a pic from the Workshop Manual:

To my knowledge no-one has ever made decent headers/extractors for the 5.0 V8, at least not for an XF, as there is very little room to move.
But there are a few threads around here on ideas for them for F-Type Rs, and I think XKRs. Velocity AP is doing something for the F-Type R.

wow...that seems like an odd reason. I thought someone would have done some sort of custom work along these lines, but i suppose the XF is not the most likely platform to go off of when it comes to these mods. Dammm..I can;t wait until I can get out of a sport sedan and into a real sports car!!!!...ok..wait, I can wait...I will miss it when the little booger is grown up.

There was a company building some headers for the XKR. There wasn't enough demand for the XF SC or XFR to get them interested in building headers for the XF.

understood, but most of the time, headers are custom made anyways. What was the company name?
