Default Headlight Bulb?

Hello all, So bad news my passenger side light bulb was turning pink 2 nights ago and now is completely off, So I took my baby in to JLR (YIKES) as I know most repairs are usually 600$ with them, they claim I have a specific headlight with quite the demand of 500$. Is this normal pricing I feel like im getting penetrated deeply for a bulb and hate myself for not having the confidence to do it myself due to my VW headlights being a complete rat nest of wires (someone else did them before). Ill drop down some pictures so I can get opinions if im being R***d by Jag or not.

Well unless you can DIY what other choice do you have?

Yes that is a completely outrageous price for a head light bulb. They are not changing the entire head light out. I have never heard a dealer sanding and polishing the head light lens and have always done it myself pretty much like your picture shows. Tape it off to protect the paint and start sanding/buffing until you are satisfied with the results.
I will be very surprised if the dealer will do this.

What is that odd sticker in your first picture? Was that factory? I have not seen that before.

Actually was wondering what the stickers are myself I was thinking they were numbers/codes for the Part# but if you have no idea what it is than neither do I. Bought this car with these headlights on already, But correct price was absurd and was paid for lol (supposably the light is "lifetime") Obviously I was joking about polishing my headlights lol although youd assume a price like that theyd clean up something lol instead I got the special muddy/oily feet in my carpets! YAY

It's an RFID tag for a parking garage / access to a location. They are usually put inside windscreen but lots of modern windscreens have metallic substances that interfere. So you can use a simple stick on the headlight

You should just peel it off. Link below to a similar example.
