Removal of headlight bulb in 1995 xjs with upgrade headlight

Removal of headlight bulb in 1995 xjs with upgrade headlight
New to the forum. I know how to locate the headlight bulb but have had trouble in getting the mount to turn to allow the bulb to dislodge. Is there a trick to getting it to turn?
