Default Cruise control vacuum pipe

Evening all, another query I need help with please. As I understand it there is a vacuum pipe going on to the cruise control actuator. Trouble is I don’t seem to have any spare vacuum pipes on the engine. All seem to be connected. Can anyone tell me where the pipe should be coming from. Cheers.

I think hook up varied. Mine connects at blue solenoid valve mounted in area at front of R/H air cleaner near to supplimentary air valve. I think this valve was an additional dump valve mounted to bracket attached to front of cam cover and added later so might not always be present.
Initial vacuum supply is spigot on front of R/H manifold.

I have the blue solenoid valve but all pipes were connected. I will have another look tomorrow. I still have an issue with the brown wire mentioned earlier. The supplementary air valve is also connected up. I think someone has previously messed about with things. Thanks for your assistance.

My 89 has a vacume take off on the front of the A bank intake manifold which headed directly to the CC bellows. No blue valve between CC and vacune source.

Cheers daim. I’ve looked and checked against photos of others and it seems correct as is. I.e. pipe to blue valve but no vac pipe to bellows.

There needs to be some hose going to the CC or else it won't work

The other spigot may well have broken off. Old plastic after all.

Two VAC ports. One to CC, second to inlet manifold. On side 2-pin elec.connector, which shut off CC, when it is not possible via cab switch (it was Jag recall action).

you are are all correct. I have looked at mine on the car and the spigot is indeed broken off. I have a replacement( long story) , and the only thing I need to be sure of is which spigot is which. The obvious would be the one that points to the inlet is piped to that and the one art 90 degrees to it and is pointing to the cc is piped to that?. Thanks for your help so far

It's a vacuum solenoid it does not matter which spigot you use for input or output. Think of it as an electrical tap for air.
