Hey guys,

So my my package from DDM Tuning finally arrived today with new LED bulbs and new head lights! =) (was super excited)

well when I got into the headlight I found a problem..seems I have H11 bulbs in there!?!?!

the problem is I ordered D1S bulbs based on the following information in the owners manual.

Halogen headlamps
use the headlamp levling control to account of vehicle loading changes...

Xenon headlamps
headlamp leveling is adjusted automatically if Xenon headlamps are fitted, to account for vehicle load conditions, to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers.

Seeing as I don't have the *** to control leveling I assumed I had Xenon headlamps.

can anyone help out here? perhaps I interpreted that wrong and its possible to have self leveling and halogen? I feel like an idiot for now checking first but Wisco winter has suckedddd!!!!

I believe H11 is a halogen bulb.

DS1 is Xenon bulb.


Which means you don't have HID set up. You will just have to replace the halogen bulb with another halogen.


Check out Silverstar bulbs. They provide good light and are in range of 4000k which has blue hue to it like the HID systems.

 

Yeah the H11 are halogens, The Thing Is Based on what I Read, in the manual, Is That You Either Get Halogens And Manual Leveling Or Xenon And Automatic Leveling, not this mix match of halogens and automatic leveling
