Default Help me! (repairs)

So the dealership I bought from Chicago Motor Cars said that they inspected the car and had zero problems with the engine. After flying out there and buying the car, I drove back to Colorado. Initially when I test drove it, I didn't hear any noise but after driving it off the lot I heard two types of noise. First was engine. There is a noise coming from the engine regardless of if I am accelerating or not. Second was steering. If I turn the wheel left or right there is an extremely uncomfortable noise from under the hood... The dealer promised there was nothing wrong and that they check every single one of their cars. However this problem occurred and I don't know what to do! I like the car and want to drive it for a long time but I don't want to drive it when there is a 1800's car noise coming out of it! Help thanks!

You don't give any information on the model year or miles on the car. You should have gotten some kind of warranty if it was a Jag dealer. Call the seller and tell them of the problem. Remember if this was a corner car lot, they could have told you anything you wanted to hear about the car!

Oh god, I tried to buy an XKR from Chicago Motor Cars a while back and they wouldn't honor their advertised price and kept baiting and switching me. Complete liars.

I wish you the best of luck, but don't count on them doing the right thing.

Check the power steering fluid level - if it's very low you'll hear a grinding sort of noise from the power steering pump (and unfortunately probably harm it...) Might suggest a leak somewhere.
For the other issue you will need to be much more specific on type of noise, location, engine speed variable or not etc. Sounds like worth taking it to a shop to be looked at.

@BritCars thank you for that information. Could I take it into any shops or do I have to go to the Jaguar maintenance shop? Because they told me something about taking it in to get the Power Steering Fluid changed but I wasn't sure if some local shop can do it as well or not.

Any good shop should be able to do it. You will want to fix the leak before spending money to flush the system, though.
