And your videographer is great, its always important for me to see how clips and plugs work so you don't need to struggle trying to figure out something on the fly. She seems to really understand what someone needs to know to help

After install does the USB in the console ( the original one) have any function any more? Just wondering if you could tap into it where it leads to at the Head unit. Same with the Aux, if the end at the head unit could be used.

I also tapped into the built in MIC for an install in my Saab when I added hands free. A bit cleaner and no wire to run. Wonder if that is possible

Saw the video. Is the AUX-in cord that you hook up in the console necessary (does the system play all the audio through there?

yes it is necessary for good quality sound ,if you watch all 3 videos no will have it installed in no time ,no wires will show
