Exclamation HPDE Track Event Titanium Brake Shims XFR, XJR and F Type R

Is there any interest for HPDE track setup with Titanium brake shims for Jaguar R cars? I just designed and made some 6AL4V Shims in .050" for my XFR and wondering maybe some of you would want them too. I can make the standard .020" or Race .050" thick shims. The thicker the more the heat rejection. I can have these also ceramic coated as well for more heat rejection. Ceramic coating does not add any significant thickness. Only a micron or two.

If these are of interest my next offering may be Titanium Caliper Pistons Ceramic Coated to reject even more heat and some custom high temperature seals and dust boots. I found a company that can make them for me.

Until my BBK for the car comes out next year these shims, some custom track pads and some Racing Torque700 brake fluid will be an easy mods to have a pretty decent track setup that won't fade. I got quoted for $354 and $288 for the fronts and rear custom race pads for our cars. There is a two week turnaround time for the pads to be custom made. They have many compounds depending on your level of braking needs. Ideally you should have a street set of pads and a track set and switch them out but I don't have the time so I want a dual purpose setup.

Got these shims installed yesterday with fresh pads and racing fluid. Did a bed in procedure. All working well.

Interesting note the pistons on the factory brakes are steel not aluminum. That is fantastic so no need for Ti. I can just have the factory ones ceramic coated with the Ti shields. I also found out the pad has clips that insert deep inside the pistons, and I don't think that is a good design to have hot metal from the pad baking inside the pistons. I will be replacing this whole setup with something more HPDE worthy next year.
