Default XFR-S brake pad replacement suggestions

Need to put new brake pads on XFR-S.
Can I get some input on the best ceramic / dustless pads people have found for our cars.

I can personally vouch for EBC Redstuff. Hardly any dust & great performance. Not sure if the XFR-S brakes differ from the XFR but I don't think that they do.

You could also try Porterfield R4-S, a few of us have recently put them on our F-Types and are very happy with them especially the low dust, see this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...ilable-186933/

Stay away from organic pads. I am having trouble with them being noisy and they don't last.

Send me an email to stuart@velocityap.com

We can supply the Porterfield R4-S at $136 for the fronts & $90 for the rears. Sold a ton of these for Astons over the years, more recently a bunch for Jaguar FTypes.

XFR has a slightly different P/N, don't have it on our website yet but I can set you up.

I have EBC Reds, but would be willing to try the Porterfields in the future. EBC feel great, way better than stock, but still have a dusting issue. Nothing like stock, but more than I'd like with my aftermarket rims and the view into the inner barrel of the rim.

I used to use EBC pads on my motorcycles, but have been disappointed with auto applications.
I'm using powerstop ceramics on my 2012 5.0 XF. Very happy with them and would buy again, but not sure if they're available for the XFR-S.

Same here with my old XFS, and last time I checked they don't make them for the XFR or XFR-S (380 mm front and 376 mm rear).

Stuart;

Are the Porterfield pads available for the XJR?
I had Akebono's on my STR and loved them.
