Hi everyone,

I’ve got a few faults with my 2008XF and need to buy a scanner to check for codes and possibly reset faults. Any recommendations? I’ve come across the iCarsoft LR V2, does anyone have any knowledge of this unfit or other recommendations.

I have that one on my 2010 XF V8 SC. Has been great - easy to use, gives details on the standard and Jag specific codes and a few useful features like service light reset if forgotten at dealer, etc.
Also used it on our Land Rover LR4.

Doesn't do a lot of complex stuff but for code reading and the basic standard features it's great.

 

I have one to , used it today as i have a fan problem it also picked up a faulty seat sensor i never knew about . it can reset codes and also service if you are doing a DIY job also you can put car into service mode on it for changing discs or pads and also can do a forced regen for the DPF a great bit of kit to have

 

Finally. The icarsoft LR V2 arrives today. Finally I will be a step closer to finding out what’s wrong. The machine will probably blow up with all the faults it will produce!
