Default Ikey340

Hi i left my jaguar xf 2014 into kwik fit to change the large battery as a warning had come up battery not charging ( the battery is in it from new and I already changed alternator a few months back). They checked the battery and said yes I needed a replacement so booked me in the next day. I asked the manager could they change the battery ok as it needed power going to the car to save settings. He said it was no problem as the had all the technology. So left it in next day again said to make sure power was maintained to car . After waiting 3 hours I knew there were problems and the the area manager said the keys were not being recognised and the gy who had been changing the battery in his haste had disconnected the battery without maintaining power as they were very busy. So I was given a courtesy car for 5 days whilst they brought in someone to fix it. When I did get the car back they explained the spare key was faulty. After a few days I noticed the front windscreen washer was not working. I investigated some posts on here which stated the cjb can be affected by the incorrect battery change and a symptom of this can be the washer not working. I rang the area manager who said the work they done would not affect the cjb as he had spoken to the tech guy he had brought in and the pump may just be faulty. Today my car isn't recognising the key at all which leads me to believe the cjb has been damaged. I have left a message for the area manager but would like some advice or if someone has some knowledge to help me.
thanks
Ivan
