My wife saw a pic the other day of an XF with lit up jaguar door sills and wants them very very bad does anyone know where I could pick some up for my '14 XF

They are a standard OEM accessory. I was fortunate that when I bought my CPO car the previous owner had put them on already! They are expensive - think they run about $600 for the pair? But they do look good...

Any Jaguar dealer. Look on Ebay for the best price and make sure it is an actual jaguar dealer. I don't think there are any knock-offs though, everyone selling should be a Jaguar dealer. That's where I got mine. They are pretty sweet, that's for sure.

Justgot off the phone with dealer they dont make them for 14's damn!!

 

They should fit the 14s even though they are not an official 14 accessory.

 

I'd guess the problem isn't the fit of the plates, but how they attach to the wiring loom. You need to remove some pieces to add in the new harness. I did it myself and while it took some time, it wasn't very difficult. But if it doesn't plug into the harness, you'll wind up splicing it in. I took pictures of it, but I never got around to posting them up.

 

Would love to see pics of it I dont have a lot of wiring experience but the wife wants them real bad so gotta do something hahaha

I uploaded the pictures to photobucket. There are no comments, so let me know if you have any questions. The beginning is the trim/panel removal. The electrical part which is where I thing your model probably doesn't match up is in the middle.
