Default Installing xfr-s suspension to an xfr

Hello,

Sorry if this question has already been posted in another thread - wondering if the XFR-S suspension (shocks, struts, springs, sway bars) can be fitted to a standard XFR.
It was claimed the XFR-S was slightly lower and 30% stiffer and tauter with its suspension than the standard XFR suspension. If the exchange is not entirely possible, what would be comparable (or better)?

Many thanks in advance!

I think it would be possible, but not necessarily cost effective. The XFR came out in 2010 after the CATS system changed so the shocks should be compatible with each other. The springs were designed to work with the shocks so doing both together would be a best case scenario. I think most XFR owners swapped springs to lower their cars more than stock. There's many, many, MANY threads on here (and the other two forums) where XF and XFR owners have changed their shocks and/or springs and their opinions on the changes it made to the ride & handling. Like all things "better" is subjective
