I'd like to know if iphone users are happy with the way the phone performs in 09-11 model year XFs. How's the call quality, ring volume, etc. What about dropped pairings?

 

My iPhone works just fine in my 2009. (I'm a poet and don't know it.)

 

I have a MY10 XF Portfolio. I first used an iPhone 4S, then replaced it with an iPhone 5. Both worked very well, no drops, good ring and voice volume (adjustable) and people on other end could hear me clearly. There is, however, one issue you should be aware of for all newer model iPhones, that is that the phone will not charge using the connector in the console. You need to purchase an adapter. This is because Apple changed the charging spec with the release of the iPhone 4 (I think). Furthermore Apple changed the connector on the iphone 5 to the lightning connector. You will also need an adapter for it. If you have a 2012+ model you might not need the adapters, you should verify before buying. If you do a search there is a lot of info on this on the forum.

 

09 XF. Had iPhone 4 a d now 5. Never had problem pairing or losing pairing. Volume and speaker all good

 

+1, my wife's iPhone works just fine. My grown-up phone works fine, too.
