2104 XF AWD here. The iphone 5S is paired with bluetooth and phone functions fine, but no music can be streamed. Even when hardwired via the USB port, it does not work.
Any ideas? or I need to be heading to the dealer. The old ipod works fine via the USB.

 

i cannot guarantee the accuracy of this statement, but I think it has to do with Apple always updating & changing file formats. The 1st iPods used MP3 (I believe), then MP4 and now AAC (?).

Assisted in me using USB (for now) when no iPhone worked successfully. And using a mini jack to plug in didn't play well through the B&W surround system. I haven't experimented with setting system to just stereo if any better. For now, a USB stick and files saved as MP3s works fine.

I used the method described using Google play as iTunes will only export MP3 to a blank CD.
