Jag XF Electric Windows
Hi All,
I've been the proud owner of my first Jag for nearly a year and am new to this site
In the cold weather, the front windows on my XF wont wind down for at least 20 minutes. In every other car I've had, they stick in the frost for a few minutes, and then start working. But it seems that the Jag XF has week electric motors for the front windows?
Does anyone else have the same problem, and is there anything I can do to improve this - maybe more powerful motors?
Many thanks,
Craig.

Never had that issue. My car is kept in a garage, so maybe that is the difference. Temperature has been below freezing many times though. Sounds like there maybe moisture in the window mechanism that is freezing up.
Thanks Hlgeorge, will look in to moisture in the motors. Or maybe I just need to buy a new house with a garage ;-)
