Jaguar Corporate Poor Customer Relations.
In my experience Jaguar corporate sucks. They have little concept of customer relations. They have a ridiculous "high & mighty" attitude which, in my opinion hurts their sales.
The attitude is reflected on many of their dealerships. There is no doubt in my mind that their sales suffer for this.
The "We're British" attitude shows. Maybe the Indians can change for the better but I doubt it.

Well, the car is British...and I love the car. In fairness, the British really do have a special way about putting the car together.
But, I've worked for a British managed corporation and oh boy, shall I say I'm unsurprised about your sentiments?
Hmm...I guess the alternative is German?

Sorry to hear of your poor customer relations experience UJ42, such a shame really.
You wouldn't be the first to make a negative comment on a forum about this tbh.....no doubt you have contacted Jaguar and made them aware of this?
WJ - Again I hear where you're coming from to a degree, but, its a kinda stereotypical scenario that doesn't help peoples perceptions moving forward.
I hear all the time about loudmouth yanks, in your face attitudes, arrogant, offensive etc etc.
I'm sure there are many that fit that description, but many many more that do not. Generally, I happen to really like the Americans attitude on the whole, but we're all different.
Its ashame it seems to be a US related issue as we have a Jaguar liason on site , but primarily for UK issues.
It'd be realy nice to see someone from US Jaguar step up to the plate and make an appearance, but hasn't happened yet I'm afraid
I would point out that I am British and have lived in the US for 40 years. It's one of the reasons that I recognize the "high and mighty" attitude.
I am truly sorry that they act this way but one hears it all the time. I do intend to write to both the UK and India regarding this. I own a 2010 XF and a 2003 X-type and love the cars but many Americans won't put up with the attitude and I am convinced that sales suffer.

I always go into a complaint with the "please and thank you" attitude. In 2004 I went to Jag corporate on a Jaguar Certified issue and was told by Jag Corporate that the issue would have to be between me and the selling dealership, because the dealership certified the car. Seems to me that "Jaguar Certified" would have been backed up by Jag Corporate since it was in all their advertising.
