They say Beijing 08, not Detroit.. but I kind of feel like this would be illogical for jaguar when they already have the XK, but maybe they're just throwing it out there to get a reaction.

The words seem to be inItalian but not any Italian I know, although I admit I know a little to begin with. Maybe it is in future tense.

Jaguar is flying the idea of a new F Type many years after it was first bandied around. A chopped XF makes a good start but one hopes it will be much smaller than that and preferably with a 3.5 V6 and 6 spd manual or DSG type transmission. Coupe and convertible as for the XK but smaller. Aluminum would be nice, sort of mini Aston V8.

It would be a mistake to justchop the XF as the whole idea of the XF is ait is a sedan that looks like a coupe already.
