Just bought an XFR-S! I have a couple questions...
2014 XFR-S (supercharged V8)
I've read they only made 200 of these total over 3 model years 2014-2017 but I've also read they only made the 2014 model year?

My usual source for production numbers is Nigel Thorley's JAGUAR - All the Cars but he provides no data for this variant.

I think you have a 2014 XFR-S which is the early X250 (2007-2015) model and not a later X260 (2015 onwards). Please confirm and I'll move your post to the relevant model forum.

They built and exported to USA and Canada approximately 100 units per year for 2013 - 2015. To my knowledge no one can confirm total numbers. Welcome to the club! Now we expect pics of your baby.
So I have the opportunity to get a 2019 F type 380 V6...how does that compare to the XFR-S? It's newer but is a V6 versus a V8...also not as rare as the XFR-S. I guess should compare to the F type R V8. Anyway which do you guys think?

And it has the glorious AJ133 5.0 SC V8 with 550 PS, the same as the previous model F-Type R (the current model F-Type R has the 575 PS version which used to be reserved for the now defunct F-Type SVR).
The V6 in the F-Type sounds good with a unique exhaust system but it still doesn't have the burble and roar of the V8.
Before I got my F-Type V6S I had a 2010 XFR, not quite an XFR-S but close, and I still miss the feel and sound of that engine.
You can easily and fairly cheaply tune the V6 to 450 or 470 hp so not that far behind the V8.
I have the 450 hp tune and I have no doubt my F-Type is as quick if not quicker than my old XFR ever was, IMHO due to a bit less weight and a snappier gearbox (ZF8HP70 vs ZF6HP28), although your XFR-S has the 8HP70.
But there is no contest in the looks department, the XFR-S is a good looking sedan while the F-Type is on a whole different planet looks wise.
Putting aside cost and looks I reckon your choice comes down to convenience and practicality - a four door five seater sedan with a decent trunk vs a two door strictly two seater sports car with in the convertible version very little room in the trunk.
The XFR-S is a relatively rare beast even compared to the F-Type V8 let alone the F-Type V6.

Ya I think I'm going to keep the XFR-S because of how rare it is. According to this article only 200 2014's were produced and of that only 100 came to the US

Welcome, and keep the XFR-s please
(I'm biased)
Mine came with the more subtle rear spoiler, but seeing yours pictured with the larger wing always makes me wonder which setup I prefer more. Looks good! I say keep it!
