I had the same fitment issues (one side was sitting too high, and pushing against the bumper, and the other was crooked and too low). Had to have the shop adjust the brackets. For the side that was too high and pushing on the bumper, they had to heat up the bracket with a torch then hammer it to bend it up and a little to the side. That seemed to make it fit. Similar adjustments and bracket bending required on the other side. A bit frustrating as it added another 2 hours of labor to the install. But I'm very happy with the finished product - agree it's loud, but still very reasonable. Hardly any drone. And sounds terrific on start up, and when accelerating. I get some popping on decel that I hope will go away over time.

Good to hear more folks are having fitment issues. Mine still touches the bumper lightly on the right side but it doesn't bother me enough to take it back yet.

If yours is anything like mine, it will burn in and mute / quiet the exhaust quite a bit. My decel popping has almost completely disappeared after about 2000 miles.

Thought I'd chime in too. My Mina didnt fit well on the right hand side - touching the stock diffuser. Ended up bending the rod that connects the two exhaust pipes near the diff. Just enough to bring the two pipes together. Got me 1/2 inch from edge of new Mina diffuser which I didnt want to wreck.

Well made exhausts, but their template must be off a little.

Clamps supplied with mine weren't that great either so I replaced them.

My exhaust still pops a lot (4K miles +) when in sport mode, but I don't want to mess with warranty removing the center xpipe / resonator.

Ok - I have read a few threads on the exhaust mod. I have a 2010 XFR and am getting close to pulling the trigger on a Mina system. Even with the aforementioned fitment issues.

If you put the Mina on do you still have the exhaust valve issue, or is that done away with?

Anyone done the x-pipe AND the Mina??

The valve is part of the stock muffler so it would be gone. I don't know of anyone doing that combo but am very curious how it would sound.

I would definitely say do the Mina - sound is terrific.
Even though it sounds like an easy fitment 'on paper' - I'd take it to a professional exhaust shop (not just a local oil, brakes and tyres place) and have them spend the time to get the install right. Mine took nearly 2 hours in the end incl heating and bending brackets to get the tail pipes straight, same height and not touching the diffuser. But the end result is well worth it.

It's a great product. The fit is almost perfect. We are talking of minor fit issues. Literally mm's. But you need a pro muffler job with some talent to do it right . Not some lazy guys. I love my exhaust. It does take some time for the exhaust note to mellow out.

Guys. Do the Mina exhaust ! Chris at Mina is the Man .. Jaguar and Peugeot is in his blood . Family business and great customer satisfaction.

20 months later and still glad I got the exhaust! I have the vibration noise at idle when I stop but I never bent the hangars so I just chalk it up to a characteristic of the car now.

DONE...installed....WOW - just WOW.

I can say though they are not for the feint of heart, or your wife - Mine thinks I spoiled the Jag purrrrr...I think I, well...ENHANCED it

They sound awesome - any gear head you know will go ape over them, and they really perk up at low to mid throttle. I have KN filters as well so maybe the open air environment really makes them sound great. I am a very happy guy. BTW it is an easy job at home if you can get under it. I just took it to Midas and it was only $80.

Now what to do with the old ones!?

Box up the old ones and keep them around! There is enough of a demand for the Mina exhaust that if you sell your XFR you should be able to sell it to someone here no problem

yeah - i just checked the for sale section and came to the same conclusion. One guy was giving away his stock ones FREE and no one was biting...so I sure as heck couldn't sell them!

Got my Mina and installed last week....cranked it up and wow! Was expecting louder but was surprised it was louder than I thought, I love it. I had a feeling it was only going to be slightly louder, but that was way off. Installed myself with no issues. The right side sits a tad to the right but not quite touching the bumper. If it continues to bug me, a slight bend in the hanger should do the trick. Left side is perfect. Love passing stangs and vettes and revving up lol. Highly recommended! 4 days delivered to east coast.

Cool...they do sound great!!! It's a no brainer ! Still have my old ones in a box as well. Enjoy the new roar!!!

You guys could make this exhaust louder. What I have done on my car is a resonator and muffler delete makes it a lot louder then no mufflers. What I plan on doing is x piping after the first cars are replaced with hi flow cats deleting the second cats for an x pipe and taking straight pipes in to a mina exhaust and lets see how it sounds. Just trying to do something different. Have long tube headers being fabricated.

thank you for the sound clip- is the XFSC at the end of the clip a 3.0 V6?
