Default License Plate Lights

Both of my license plate lights keep fall out on my 2013 XF. I used duct tape to stuff in them to keep it from happening again. Anyone else have this issue?

I have this same issue on my 09 XF premium luxury, I've had to use double sided tape or just shoving them in in a way that makes them sort of stuck in position. It happened after I replaced the lights with leds, must a certain way of removing them that I did not do correctly.

Same happened with mine. I put them in and put a bead of clear silicone sealer to hold them tight.

I fitted T10 SMD LED globes to both my XFs and never had a problem with either, solid as a rock.
Maybe that is because they are a bit longer longer than the stock globes and they jam in pretty tight in the globe holder?
With the added bonus of bright white light light instead of the dull sickly yellow of the stock globes.

Follow up, mine was still under warrenty, so I took it to the dealer this morning. I asked if the lights falling out was common and the service writer said he sees it a lot on the Jaguar and Land Rovers as well. They gave me new ones.
