Default Looking to buy

Morning all, I am in the market for a 2010-2014 jag. Something with the supercharged v6 or one of the v8s. Are there any particular models/years to stay away from and things to pay extra attention to when looking? Here are a few I'm interested in

looks like you're open to the entire range of xf or xj models? and you've got a price range of mid teens to high 20k's?
you have a wide range or performance among your links.

all cars require maintenance and depreciate. that's the primary thing to stay away from - cost / unexpected cost. soft wheel alloys lead to needing bend and crack repairs. weak coolant system parts require replacements - either proactively or reactively - your choice - or not.. wheels / brakes / tires are an expense so just understand that before entering in.

if you need AWD, then must go with s/c v6 option for the XF or the XJ. you'll be looking at a newer model in your range or years. 2013 begins the era of the 8 speed transmission, so consider that if comparing a 2012 and older vs a 2013 or newer

older, higher mileage v8 / supercharged v8 vs. newer lower mileage supercharged v6 and newer transmission design / newer infotainment

if you get the high hp models, you;ll be contending with wide rubber band 30 series and 35 series tires to fit the required 20'' wheels to clear the massive brake calipers. the v6 models have smaller running gear with higher profile and narrower tires.

jaguar tax will apply for sure, but so will jaguar smiles - I've had mine for almost 2 years, only drive it occasionally - puts a smile on my face each time and makes me feel special each drive.
