Default It looks like something is missing!

I've got two places in the engine bay where something appears to be missing. Can any kind person tell me what is missing?

The first looks like a bracket is missing for the coolant reservoir.

The other is on the air intake

I know all the plastic connectors are missing in the engine bay. They were missing when I bought it. Haven't got around to replacing them yet. They're in the boot

Two things--- the engine cover is not fitted properly in the rubber supports at the back of the engine and you are missing a black plastic piece for the reservoir. I have attached a picture of the tank on my 2012 XF 5.0NA. As you can see it slides onto the bracket on the tank and and into the metal bracket down to the left.
I have no idea what the part no of this piece is.

The piece which fits on the air intake of my NA is a support bracket bolted to the front of the cylinder head. Your supercharged piece is likely different.

Thanks for your help.
Having had a look, the bracket appears to be supplied with the expansion tank.

I'll sort the engine cover.
So much to sort out on an older car.

That's correct unfortunately, mine was broken and, if memory is correct, it is molded to the tank rather than attached with a fastener. I did a makeshift repair on mine that will last just fine but mine was not completely absent. Wouldn't be difficult to make something to do the job.

Looks like the previous repairs were hack jobs??
Anytime I see fasteners/parts missing is because they were lazy or lost them. Your missing all the connectors holding you fresh air ducts down too. Keep looking because you will find more and more stuff missing.

Just in the picture you posted your missing 5-6 things? Here is your picture and the red circles are missing parts. The green circle is a lone survivor and that type goes on that cover. The intakes take a different plastic fastener.

Don't forget that if Jaguar does not service it separately there are lots of used parts on EBay so you probably can find what you need. But all these plastic clips are available.

Thanks.
I'm aware of all those connectors, and I've got their replacements ready.
It alarmed me when I noticed them missing, and I thought exactly the same.
A heck of a lot of work was done on the engine in October 2023.
I've only had the car a couple of months, and had to sort out a few things, but nothing major.
Just started looking at the engine bay. The whole car needs some overdue tlc.

The air intake duct is missing a bracket, item 10. which screws into the brass fitting.

Just have a look internally on the air inlet tube to the throttle body, to see if it is hard cracked and breaking up.(Yet)
