Matching mesh bottom bumper and grill
I've seen some XF's where the bottom bumper mesh was chrome mathing the grill. I'm curious is this an order option or something that is usually done aftermarket ? Anyone here done it? I think it gives the car a much more refined and beefier look..
Ps: silly question but I've seen jag badge with both black and green backgrounds, what determines which color is on the badge ? Anyone know ?

I got them from Mina Gallery.
Easy to install, no need to remove the bumper, they fit over the top of the existing plastic bits and are held on with small screws.
Note they are not chrome but polished stainless steel.

I put lower grille "chrome" mesh inserts on my old XFS, they fitted well and looked pretty good, here's a pic:

The UK and Oz XFS is/was quite different to the US version.
The US version was a petrol V8, the UK/Oz version was a 3.0 litre V6 twin turbo intercooled diesel with 600 Nm of torque, nearly as much as the 625 Nm XFR. I think the US "S" only lasted a year and was replaced by the US "S/C" in 2009. The UK/Oz "S" came out in 2009 and continued right through to 2015 (ie the end of the X250) with the same diesel motor.

That looks really nice.
It does irk me that Jaguar uses a chromed plastic grill. It was disappointing to find that on a premium vehicle they use something I've always associated with the cheapest Japanese motorbikes.
I expected a nice stainless mesh. Chromed injection moulded plastic will always look cheap.
