Jaguar XF (4.2L) Performance Intake Kit - Mina Gallery Inc

Anyone done it or any thoughts?

 

I've done it on my 09 xf premium luxury, I've also had the mina exhaust put on. The intake is fairly easy to put on yourself, here is a YouTube clip I took of it if you wanna hear it

Any noticeable improvements? Looked at the exhaust combo too, is there much difference in sound?

 

I bought one for my XJ8 and it kept setting off the check engine light with reduced performance. Went back to stock and it cleared up.

 

Could just be my imagination (did not do any dyno tests) but I believe it improved the acceleration feel. Before putting on the exhaust I could definitely here a difference in sound, you can hear the nice suction noise of it, but after putting on that exhaust, all I hear is the exhaust lol Love going on the highway and pressing down hard, definitely screams

 

Great have you had any issues with water getting inside the intake? The jag is my everyday car and am getting a little paranoid if i am driving through heavy rain that water may kill the car!

 

Haha well I am in California, where it has barely rained in the past couple years, however I have driven it through hard rain before and I haven't seen any issues. If you want, you can try contacting the mina gallery guys and asking if there should be any concern
