Default More 2012 XFR purchase questions

You guys have been extremely helpful so far with my quest for an XFR...
So I narrowed my search for a 12' XFR demo to 2 cars:
Red with red/black interior 2.4k miles, red calipers, MSRP 83K/asking 59K
Black with black interior, 4K miles, no red calipers, MSRP 83K/asking 59K

I have 2 questions: Are the red calipers a part of a package or an options? I have seen some cars with and some without it with the same MSRP.

Is this a good price? I saw someone here who got an 89K car for 62K…

Thanks again!

Red calipers are an option.

Price seems to be good. Make sure you inspect the car carefully!

I have 2012 Red/Black XFR with red calipers. Get looks and compliments everywhere!

that's a tough call, good pricings
good colors
I personally love the red interior, which is what i have

exterior I don't care too much about, as I usually vinyl wrap my cars

but the red on red/black with red calipers would look sporty and sexy
rare combo, and stands out

sit in it, and have a friend take some pics of you sitting in it.
pick the one that most interests you about it

I would go with the red exterior. That color is seldom seen (unlike black), would be easier to keep clean, and it has lower miles! That's a no brainer......................

Yes that car is beautiful indeed! However I have heard from a few dealers that red is so hard to resale later down the road…. Any thoughts on that? I drove the red and it drives well accept for an annoying door rattle - I hope that's an easy fix if I choose this car. I have had a door rattle in the BMW 7 for 2 years.

Red on red. No question for me! The black is more common and the black, like the rental I just had gets really bad swirl marks and the red interior is amazing. Get color red, not cheap, plasticky looking red

As far as resale who cares, anyone look for an xfr is looking for sporty and unique.

Definitely sit in the red on red. My only concern is whether or not you will get tired of the color. I had a rust orange LR2 that was great for around 6 months. Then I was over the color and traded it in for black on black. My XFR is polar white with dove gray interior. It came loaded with every option but the red calipers. It had 3.6k miles and was $69k back in November 2012. Love the car. Tinted the windows and darken the wheels.

Its a very nice red, resale will exceed that of the black cars. Haha, I know I'd take a red over my black! And you don't have to sell the car to everyone...just one buyer.

If you like it the red is a no brainer for me.

Gorgeous car you have there! Does yours have the active cruise? I love your wheels - How did you have yours done and what color is it? I have seen some blacked out completely but I like your look better.

Getting really specific here… But something about the red with the regular wheels doesn't do it for me and if I paint the wheels not sure to which color...
