Hi all hopefully somebody can help me I've got a Jaguar xf x250 that will not lock or unlock but starts no problem. Went and got the sdd software and that showed me the CAN_MS is Offline I've checked fuses, battery, and looked for any signs of water and can't see nothing wrong. Any help would be great.

 

This should not start with no comms to the BCM or RFA, does your A/C work? What else is inop in the car other than the door locks? I think you have a scanner issue more than the actual network down. Does the radio work?

 

The Radio and AC also work no problem. When I press the lock on the key the boot and fuel cap locks and unlocks.

 

Then all those modules are working. What does the alarm do when you attempt to lock it? Do you get the mislock beep as if a door is open after 5 seconds or so?

 

Yeah when locking i get the two beeps and no doors lock. I've also checked by another scanner to see if the doors are responding to being opened and closed and they are all working.

 

So you probably have a latch failed. Does it change if you set single stage unlock (drivers door first) vs all? What about if you use the buttons in the car?
