It does not have the 'MERIDIAN' badge on the speakers unlike some XFs I've seen, does this mean it's not made by them? It does seem good quality still.

 

On my 2014 XJ it has Meridian on the nav screen when you are in the audio section. But I also have Merdian on the speakers too.

Does yours say anything on the screen?

I don't think any of the parts, except maybe some of the speakers, are actually made by Meridian. Cambo is our resident expert on this topic, he would know for sure.

 

I believe that the 2008-2010 XF had the 11 channel Bowers & Wilkins systems. Then in 2011 on Jaguar XF cars came with the Meridian 12 and 15 channel systems. My 2011 has the Meridian system.

 

Mines a 2012 facelift, I guess it must be a Meridian then but it doesn't have the logo on the speakers. No worries, I'll get some off Ebay.

 

2012MY was a bit special, the infotainment system was upgraded basically the same as the 2013MY cars but the premium audio systems were branded Bowers & Wilkins, not Meridian. The speakers are different as well.

If there are no badges on your door speaker grilles then you have the base audio system, no subwoofer. It's not branded at all, just "Jaguar"
