Name that sound!
No, not the squeaky belt, the other sound. Hint, comes with P0088 high fuel pressure code. 2011 5.0 with 58,000 miles.

Hi 2011_XF_5.0
Not sure if the fault code is associated with the squeal but if the bearings are going on your alternator, then it might be. Could also be an idler pully but you will have to investigate closer. Hopefully it is not more serious.

I’ve eliminated the possibility of anything belt driven by removing the belt. Noise was still there. However, today out of nowhere the noise and stumble on startup was gone. Not sure if this was had anything to do with it being hot outside. Going to see what it does in the morning
With a vacuum system for oil removal, you could have a bearing breaking down or slipping which might not even show if you pull the pan.
I have had a cam bearing shift on a rebuild and only found it after pulling the valve covers and performing very close inspection.
Are you still noise free? Have you reset your DTC and did the code pop up again?
Kevin
