Default Navigation - Warning Screen

I own a 2014 XF 3.0 and got the Navigation screen replaced because it had a dead pixel or a spec of dirt that was driving me crazy. The dealer says they just changed the screen and nothing else.

However, while driving if i want to use the Navigation system I now get a warning screen that I didn't get before.

Doesn't really bother me much, just curious if the dealer upgraded/downgraded the Nav and don't feel like telling me.

Does anyone know what version Nav I should have? How I can find out what version i have?

I have the hard disk navigation system.

My 2013 also requires me to tap OK before it will let me in.

Default Please respond - need more answers

Hi all, please help me out.

I had only had my 2014 XF for 4 days before I took it in for that dead pixel and had the screen changed.

I immediately called the my service guy and he told me that the warning screen was on every car. I thought I was going crazy since for 4 days I hadn't seen that 'warning' on my car, nor did I see it on the 3 2015 demo cars I had test driven.

The more I got the screen, since it's on every step on the NAV usage and I have to push OK, the more it bothered me.

Anyway, I took my car in yesterday to get tinted window and guess what .... they gave me a 2014 loaner and no warning/info screens.

I called my service guy right away and told him to check part numbers, but I'd really like to get some more answers. I'm thinking they put in an older unit on my 2014.

What year is your XF and do you get the NAV warning/information screens?

On my 2010 XF i only have to accept the agreement once for each time the car is started. If you have to press it more often then that then something is certainly wrong with the unit.

As stated above on my '12 I have to accept the agreement only once after each start-up of the car.
