Need help whine from engine bay
Hi Guys I googled and searched the forum but I couldn’t get a clear answer. My 5.0 2011 xf non SC seems to have a whine from the front engine bay. It gets louder with acceleration . I can make the noise when in park. Im hoping it isn’t Tranny related. 157km driving lightly . Dads car actually. Helping him out. When the car downshifts it follows with the sound of the rpm ‘S it’s drowned out at highway speeds but is I believe still there .. I’m thinking belt but would like to know how ne could tell it maybe or may not be transmission. That wouldn’t be fun.
