new XFR owner
Hi I just picked up a 2010 xfr totally new to the jaguar world but definitely not new to modding my vehicles lol . Never thought I would own a jag but I got a crazy deal on it and damn this car is sick !!
Been checking out threads for hours every day since I bought this bad boy last week and you guys are very knowledgeable so thanks for everything I have learned so far.
First thing I had to address was the exhaust, I traded in a 2014 mustang gt premium performance package tuned with exhaust for this car so it was like night and day . The stealth smooth power is amazing but I wanna hear it when I'm into the throttle , so far I have just done a resonator delete x pipe, and it gave me a touch more exhaust note and I feel like it slightly improved performance but I want a bit more volume out of the exhaust, nothing crazy because this car doesn't need to sound like a muscle car , thoughts ? Advice ?

My toys are a 96'911 and a 07' 911 turbo.... they take all my money on upgrades.
I believe there is another exhaust brand that has more of a euro tone. Tons of different videos you can listen to on YouTube. Mina was the only thing out there when I got mine.

I made a couple videos of my Mina install (back box only). Essentially silent at a cruise. I have a slight drone at a very narrow rev range (just shy of 2k), but I am super fussy about drone. You can just hear the volume flare in the video if you listen with good headphones / speakers with a subwoofer
That was as fast as I could get away on a very cold and wet evening, haha. Even with Sottozeros.
I previously had an x-pipe as well replacing the middle section. I took it off because a) it was slightly louder (I don't really like volume so much as tone) b) the drone was slightly worse c) I didn't like the sound as much, being robbed of some of the V8 woofle.

check out the Eurocharged web sight....their tune and pull will put you up to 570 580 hp at the crank... that motor set up from jag is tuned up to 550 hp on the showroom floor.... the EC tune is amazing by the way...

Stock max boost is 11.6 psi, most pulleys will add 1.5 lbs on that. The hottest factory tune is 575hp, and without getting into details, I would say that is our cars maximum RELIABLE limit. So a 630hp tune may be out there but just know Jag AJ133SC engines aint cheap, even if it does say FORD all over it .lol
But before you get into modding you should get your dealer to run a maintenance history for you, then you'll know whats been done or not service wise, because you want to address those items before you start modding.
MAKE SURE YOUR BATTERY IS GOOD!
That said a pulley and tune will REALLY wake these cars up, as does the exhaust mod you've already done. I went with a JAILBREAK/GSR Technik Tune as they are local to me, posted dyno runs from other XF's they've tuned and got great props from forum member, 2010 Kyanite XFR. I have not been disappointed.
Keep a good wheel straightening service on hand, our rims bend with ease at the mere sight of a pot hole..lol
And be ready to smile everytime you lay into it..

Thanks everyone for the compliments and advice, all scheduled maintenance was done meticulously at the jaguar dealership I have all the records , I currently have 66k miles on it . Is there a way to load the safe factory 575 horse tune and have it stick ? I've heard alot of reports of tunes losing potency after a period of time.
