We have a2012 XF-S 275 portfolio & since we purchased the vehicle have had DAB signal after checking & joining Topix
we found the following , my question is has anybody had theres done & how much was it ?

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
A customer may report a total loss of reception when using Digital radio.


Cause:
Due to a broadcasting technology change some markets are switching to DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcast+), as a result the customer may request that an upgrade kit be installed to their vehicle.


NOTE:
THIS UPGRADE IS AT THE CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE AND IS NOT TO BE CLAIMED UNDER WARRANTY.
Action:
Install a Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB+) upgrade kit.

SERVICE INSTRUCTION:


CAUTION:
This procedure requires SDD DVD136.02 and Calibration File 157 loaded or later.
Connect the Jaguar approved battery support unit / power supply.

Connect SDD to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session, by reading the VIN for the current vehicle and initiating the data collect sequence.

Make sure that the Touch Screen software is at the latest level.
Click here to run : Configure existing module - Front control/display interface module (high level display front) (50750 / 136.00)
Where no internet connection is available:
Select Diagnosis session type.
Select any of the following symptoms:
Electrical - Information and entertainment system – Touch screen display.
Select the 'extras' tab'.
Run : Configure existing module - Front control/display interface module (high level display front).

Install DAB+ upgrade kit (see Topix Workshop Manual, Section 415 - 01A, Satellite Radio Tuner).

Follow the SDD prompts.

Where no internet access is available.
Select Service Functions session type.
Run : Add / remove accessories : Digital radio control module upgrade.

When all tasks are complete, exit the current session by selecting the Session tab and then selecting the Close Session option.

Disconnect SDD and the battery support unit /power supply.
