Default No data available for selected country - XF 2010

Hello, I'm wondering if someone here can help me.

I have just purchased a Jaguar XF 2010 3.0 Diesel, and it really is a lovely car. Unfortunately I didn't realise it needed a disc to operate the satnav, so I have bought a set of discs of eBay to see if the sat nav works (2010 - 2011). Whenever I press an option to input destination via postcode or town etc, I get the following message: 'no data available for selected country'. I also noticed in some pictures of other people's satnav that there is a picture of europe on the right hand side, with the UK highlighted green, but for me that side is blank and it doesn't say GBR or anything on the bottom right. I've made sure United Kingdom is selected in all options.

Hoping someone can help! Is this a fault or am I missing something?

Sounds like a non-GB disc.

Welcome to the forums Flubber,

I've moved your question from Diesel variants - All models to X250 forum. The engine type is irrelevant to this question.

Too late now but worth a look next time you want a SatNav update disk:
https://www.satnavishop.co.uk/2019-2...disc-188-p.asp

A better choice than long outdated versions on ebay.

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some information about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.
