Default No front license plate?

I think the XF looks better without the front license plate, but how many of you run that way in States where it's a requirement to have the front plate on?

We're supposed to have front plates, but i've been pulled over maybe 5-6 times in the last 2 years for various offenses, and not one time did they mention the lack of a front plate. The 'nicer' cars seem to get a little less enforcement, unless you get that one pr*ck in the department. So far so good.

I've been caught twice in the last 6 months, once on the street and once at O'Hare. At $50 a pop you begin to wonder...

Le Chef, are you trying to promote illegal activity? What's next? Suggesting someone be so bold as to tint their windows, including the driver's door?

Jag ownership. It's all about livin' on the edge...

I'm rolling without the front plate until I either: 1. Am forced to by local law enforcement, or 2. Get fed up from any tickets aquired from being pulled over for said offense.

I've drove past a quite a few cops in my XFR so far...and I think they're taken aback from the actual "Look" of the car, versus being concerned with there not being a front plate.

Default Front plate.

Front plates S**K!!
I live in **** Jersey and can't afford the fines so I came up with an alternative for my 04 STR. I removed the factory/dealer holder and fashoned one from an aluminum sheet which I attached with large head pop rivets. I bent the bottom of the mount and plate about 40 degrees rearward just below the numbers. This gives the plate a more Euro look.
I also bondo'd the top plate holes and match painted.
If I win the lottery, I'll join all you rich guys and tear it off!!!

Im from Delaware, and we dont have front plates. Only back plates. Georgia is that way too. My XJR came from Virginia, where they do have front plates, so I just put a leaper-cat licence plate on the front in place of a number plate.

No front plates for us up here in Alberta. There was some talk about making in mandatory, but never panned out.

Looks like total crap IMO

Took the XFR out last night during the Super Bowl half time to get stuff, and a city cop eye'd me down as he passed. Not sure if he saw that I was missing a front plate, or just enjoying the look of the car.

It was a nice clear and sunny winter day in Idaho...I was just Aching to get it out again. Been too long.

On the way back, some chevy half ton was in front of me as I was leaving town, and he thought he was all that and slammed the pedal down to take off (county roads 45mph btw). I went ahead and passed him for a couple of reason. 1) He wasn't that fast and needed to understand this. 2) I needed my speed fix. & 3) My car deserved it.

I was driving a bit over 45.

I love it! I hope you waved politely as you passed the truck.
