Do our cars have this feature? The 4.2 models I mean, I believe the 5.0 cars do. There is no mention of it in my owners manual and they probably don't but thought I'd ask.

My 07 Corvette Z06 and 07 Trailblazer SS both have the oil life monitor feature, it gives you the oil life remaining as a percentage. The owners manuals explain how to reset the monitor when you change the oil. It is useful as a guide and interesting to see different driving styles and commutes produce different results.

 

No monitor on the 4.2. If I remember my 09 S/C correctly, oil change was based on about 10K mile intervals or one year which ever occured first.
