Default One electric lock and trunk release failure.

I was getting my groceries a few weeks ago. When loading my trunk, I had no issues, but when i got home and went to retrieve my bags from the trunk, i had to use the key to open it (key fob, button under the logo, or button on the inside wouldn't work.) The next week I went to the grocery store again. My trunk still not working automatically, i went to put them in my back seat instead. This time the rear passenger door wouldn't open (or rather, it wouldn't electrically unlock. all the others work fine.) Could this be related or are these two issues happening at the same time an unfortunate coincidence?

At first I considered all the weird stories ive heard from Jag owners who's battery is going flat, so when my tire pressure system faulted too, i decided to get it the batter checked. Test showed the battery is good, but needed a charge. This makes sense since i only drive it about 20 miles per week.

If your battery was low on charge (but not ‘bad’) that could still be the cause of electrical gremlins. Charge it up fully and see if the problems persist

The trunk not opening is usually caused by a break in the wiring harness where it runs alongside the trunk hinge. Repeated opening and closing eventually breaks the wire. Dealer will replace the whole harness going to the trunk (expensive) or you or an electrician can find and just splice the broken wire very easily and for almost free

Not sure about rear door. The actuators have known to fail but that would be a coincidence to have two separate issues like that.
