I recently had my parking brake get stuck a second time the last time it was from battery voltage i knew that because after i put a new battery in the car it worked when i tried it again.
this time i put the park brake on pumped gas then when i go to pull off the brake it stuck. I took it to my near by jaguar specialist and they were able to get it unstuck they told me they got it off by unplugging the module. I asked them for the codes from the motor they said that they “didnt know” the codes that it had said that the motor couldnt tell if it was on or off so they told me i need a new motor. My module still unhooked, but its been making my dsc act up when i turn corners a little too hard. Anyways im thinking about buying a parts car with a motor would a 5.0 supercharged have the same parking brake motor are they all compatible with eachother up to a certain year?

 

also it had came to mind that it might have been a mechanical failure my break pedal is soft and squishy and i can’t remember the last time the brakes were bled, several month agos when i replaced my rear calipers those were bled but i dont recall all 4 being bled
