passenger window problem

Default passenger window problem

Did any of you experienced a problem with any Windows, like if you put it up, it get right back down. -__-

I don't know if it do that because there is something blocking it.

Yes, that happened on my 2010 XF Premium last year.


The dealer replaced the regulator under CPO warranty.


I was able to slowly "bump" the window switch up about 1/2" at a time to get the window to close and stay closed. Only lift the switch to the first detent. Do not lift all the way to the "auto close" position.

This is what I'm doing right now but it annoy me lol

Try the window reset procedure and see if that helps. Search on the forum to find it. Think it's basically wind all way up and hold switch in full position. Same down. Something like that. I had a similar issue on my 2010 a few years ago and that seemed to clear it

+1. Hopefully the procedure will reteach the window where the top is.

Same thing happened to me, but both front windows. The regulators were replaced under warranty. Dealer said they were drawing too much current.
