Finally got the time to mount my new wheels. Still waiting to get some free time so I can install my coilovers and get my fitment just right. May look low but it has some gap haha. Running a meaty setup

Love the blacked out chrom on the white, I did the same thing.

Is that a XFR or did you put the hood on a 3.0?

I am so glad to see you guys are still showing of your whips... I have to admit that they are some of the most beautiful lux vehicles with power you could buy..

Looking sensational. I thought you previously had a whate/porcelain XF??

Tell me did you have this ceramic coated. The finish is magnificent. I had my XF coated and I'm really impressed at both its appearance and how much easier it is to maintain

Great look! Curious what size diameter wheel and also what size rubber you have on the car. I like the fact that there is some profile on the tires - looks meaty and mean!

What's an SV8?
I don't think that was a label in North America.

================================================== ===========
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, and
Torque is how far you take the wall with you

I was wondering the same and googled it! Looks like a 420 HP version that may have preceded the XF-R ??? The R came out in 2009 and these were prior to....or maybe you're right NOT in the USA.

Yep, no such model in the US.
It was the 2008 XF 4.2 V8 supercharged which was known in the US simply as the XF supercharged or XFS, not to be confused with the European/Oz XFS which came out in 2009 with the 3.0 diesel V6 twin turbo (my first Jag).
It lasted only one year then was replaced by the XFR with the 5.0 V8 supercharged.

Hi MarkN, I actually had a SV8 badge XF, There where a few that came here as show cars for the international car shows. I was able to purchase it at a really low price because it was the premiere XF with the 4.2 Liter V8. I didn't keep it long because like with anything new to market, it had more bugs then a little bit... After that I purchased another (Red in color) which was named XF Supercharged and from there I graduated to the XF-R.. Just a little history info... BTW, do you still have that beautiful black one with the chrome mirror covers you purchased from me? I know you had a little battle with the company because of your engine..

You have a good memory! The motor ceased and eventually Jaguar NA replaced it free of charge. I sold it 3+ years ago and of course wish I never did! It was a beautiful car in awesome condition and I got peanuts for it 3 years ago compared to what its' value would be today. But I was looking for "more" and used that $ to put down on my current Corvette Z06 / Z07. The Z06 has increased in value materially since I bought it so suppose I did OK but wish I had them both!

Wow, Ok, That was a beautiful silky smooth black beast you had.... I know you must miss it but on the upside, You replaced it with something sweet.. I would like to have a Vette but the streets and highways are to bad for those tires and rims... My jag has become a garage queen because I am so tired of replacing tires... I only have 20K on the clock but I have spent so much $$$ on tires and wheels. I'm actually toying with getting a Jag F-Pace SVR while I can still get that Supercharged Motor... It's a shame that they are killing off all the beautiful cars with awesome sounding engines... BTW... Are we the only two originals left? Just curious..

Hi FastCat,

Sorry not sure if you were directing that question at me. The wheels above are 18 inch and I run Pirellis. I fing the tyre performance excellent. I did try another brand one and can't rember what it was but I was unimpressed. Here's a better shot
