Default Plenum air leak on SC 4.2L

HI all,
I was trying to locate a teardown of the air intake and supercharger system. I have identified an air leak with a performance limiting code throwing on the computer. This is coming from my passenger side plenum gasket leading into the manifold going to the supercharger. I was trying to identify if I will need to pull the SC, and if so if that would be a good time to swap out the pulley.

Much appreciated.

I've had this lot out but I'm not sure exactly which gasket you mean, do you have a photo, diagram or part number for the gasket your are referring too?

Here are images of the 3 gaskets that I am speaking of. Hopefully these are the right ones. I have a terrible time, finding the right parts for my Jag(2009 XF SC 4.2L V8)
Thanks again for your help.

Ah ha. I see which ones you mean.

The SC doesn't come out to replace those, in fact you have to remove them in order to take the SC out. You just need to take off the air intake pipe that comes from the air boxes and goes to the throttle body, just remove the jubilee clip, the bolt and a spring clamp and that comes off easily. That will give you access to the bolts and spring clamp that hold the outlet pipe in. There's a coolant hose at the front and vacuum line at the back you need to disconnect before trying to lift out the outlet pipe, if you are lucky you might be able to lift the outlet pipe forward without disconnecting the coolant hose, that will save a bit of faff putting it back together.

Getting the duct seals in is a bit of an art, the old ones will have settled in shape and probably fairly brittle, making them easy to pop out with a little bit of force. The new ones are nice sturdy rubber and need a bit of encouragement to compress enough to allow you to slide them into place

Finding the right parts for the 4.2 SC XF is a nightmare because they made so few of them; its like the rocky road of Jaguars - made from bits they had lying around the factory. The car seems to be a mix of things from XK8/Rs, S-types, XFs and Range Rovers, with a few bits from a Fiesta and S-max thrown in for good measure. A lot of the parts places have no idea what parts actually fit it and if you want a part that was only made for the 4.2 SC XF they are near impossible to get hold of, I've been looking for an undertray for about a year after mine got smashed off by a stray bit of wood.
