Hi everyone, I have a 2011 xf premium. I've had it about three years, and normally it runs beautifully, but it seems like every summer it starts idling really rough, as well as going into restricted performance mode. I'll turn the car off and will drive fine, then start acting up again. Occasionally, when I am idling, or come to a stop at a light, the car will turn itself off, and then the power seems to surge when I turn it back on. I have ran the codes, and it gives me the P061A:Unknown code
P2118: 1) Throttle Actuator Control Motor Current Range/Performance
P0106: Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Range/Performance Problem
P010B: Unknown code
I have replaced all of the sensors that go with these codes and the problem still persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Hmm. If you've replaced the sensors then this sounds like its might be an electrical problem.





Which engine do you have in it?

 

I have the 5.0 liter V8, no supercharger. I'll have to check out the electrical, thanks for the advice.
