I'm getting my car tinted and need to remove the rear deck so he can do the whole window and not cut around the brake light. I had it done and it looks stupid. He said if I would take the deck out he would redo. Has anyone done this? And how easy? Thanks in advance.

 

I just had my tint guy cut around everything, and was pleased with the results (and I'm detail freak).

 

Thanks for the response, had almost 100 views and no reply. I did have the tint guy do the same thing. But after looking at all the XF's on the lot, they had the full back window tinted. So my guy said he would redo if I took out the rear deck. I was hoping someone had a write up. I guess I will put the back seats down and see what I'm in store for.

 

You might want to ask BigCat09 about it. I know he's had his seats out for some drag runs. I've taken a lot of my car apart, but not specifically the rear deck.
