Hi guys, I saw some diagrams for the jack stand locations but I'm still wondering where the hell the rear stand locations are. I took a couple pics and it looks like the jack is in the way of the solid frame area down there. Does anyone have any ideas? I also attached a pic of the front jack stands just to be sure they're in the right spot if anyone could confirm. It seems to be stable enough up there. This an 09 XF Supercharged.
Here is a nice thread from the UK Jaguar forum. Take a look? XF Jacking Points
Here is the diagram from your owners manual. Do you have the owners manual?
Note the diagram is for jack stands and NOT lifting points! But those are also described in that thread. Jaguar want's you to use the pinch welds to lift the car.
Also never lift the car using the rear differential pumpkin.

Hey thanks for the response. Yes that's the exact diagram I have looked at and it seems like I got the fronts just fine according to it. You'd think the front would have been harder due to it being a way under the car but really I'm struggling with the rears because after the car is lifted there doesn't seem to be a solid spot big enough for the jack stand. There's something big I'm missing here and just can't see it apparently.
Are you lifting the car with the pinch welds at the outside edge of the car? That should leave the flat spot to place the jack stand.
Otherwise your right no place to put the jack stand.
