Just bought an xf (163bhp) and considering a re map. Does anyone have any recommendations in the south east or has anyone personally had theirs done and can give a first hand experience. Also, Got a 12 month jag approved warranty, does anyone know if this is affected by a map should something that is under warranty fail? Thanks in advance.

 

I assume by SE you mean England vs USA?
Lots of people here running tunes, particularly VAP (Velocity) with great results. Search around the forum
But think the 163hp is the 2.2 diesel. Not many of them on here. I doubt you have many good tuning options for that unfortunately

And yes - it could void warranty depending on whether the dealer thinks that caused it. It's hit and miss.

 

Which engine is it, 2.2 TD (X250) or 2.0 (X260), what age? and which county in the SE (UK) are you in?
