Has anyone installed a remote start system on their XF where it also turns on the seat heaters?

i am almost 99% certain you will not find anything like that. its going to have to be completely custom, which i still dont think is possible

 

it's a great thought and likely the biggest issue with the interface for heated seats and steering wheel.. cannot do..

 

In this age of technology, I wonder why there cannot be a dongle that fits into the OBD receptacle that access the on board computers to do just that. There are remote starts that do that (the dongle connects to a cell phone and requires a code).

I've called a few shops now. No one wants to touch it. The name Jaguar apparently scares everyone off.

 

you're probably saying the name wrong.. most know it as jagwire.. lol

maybe hire one of the local homeless to sit in the car and push the seat heat button after you remote start? and their body heat will be a bonus into the seat cushion. getting the smell out is next issue.. an app for that?
