I was just driving in my 2011 XF Prem ( 5.0l NA V8 ) and all of the sudden the "Restricted Performance" engine light came on. I luckily have a code reader and once hooked up it showed this: P0016 - Crankshaft position - Camshaft position Correlation- Bank 1 Sensor A I am not tech savvy at all and have no clue what this means Also I am still well within my original FACTORY warranty.. will this be covered? Any ideas or help? Thanks!

Sorry wrong!
It's is not the tensioners and timing chains. Those were problems years ago on the old 4.0L V-8. It was permanently fixed on the 4.2L and also the 5.0L V-8.

Most likely just a sensor. Don't sweat it and report back what the dealer changed.

Dealer said to clear code and it shouldn't come back. Said they have been hearing this a lot as the cold weather causes frost sometimes on sensors. Set more sensitive than they really need to be. So far I cleared code and hasn't come back... Fingers crossed
