Question RH Headlamp Problem. No Low beam

Hi I have a 2011 XFR and my right side low beam does not work. I have changed bulb and ballast and have since tested the the RH headlamp on the left side and it works fine. I have taken my left side headlamp and tried it on right side and it does not work so I have ruled out that it is a headlamp issue. I know these do no have any fuses so I am not sure where to check next. When I plug my connector into the back of the headlamp the low beam will flicker but that is it. High beam works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You need a DTC printout to have any idea what is going on. BCM could be the cause. I recently diagnosed one with the same symptoms and a replacement BCM was the cure.

Sorry to resurrect this older thread but was hoping Jamie would report back (if he is still active) on what he found. Also, MoJo88 regarding his comment on the DTC printout. I am unfamiliar with this. Is this a diagnostic report from the Jaguar authorized computer? I am chasing similar headlight issues as per my post of 3-3-23 Bi-Xeon by gawd.
Thanks all,
Bond.

Hi
I had the same issue with my High beam what I found out was the Pin inside the connector which inside the headlight was broken.

Tried to replace Pin with another but couldn't get it out tried with all different Pin removal tools but couldn't get it out so eventually I took a wire from my good headlight and spliced it in my bad one and now both working.

Check for broken or loose Pin

Thanks Eggie, I had reviewed your post the other day and did exactly that. All looks good with my pins; receptacle and I had already connected my inoperable light to the other side, and it works fine.
Thanks again.
